Sue had to say...Grandmother of 4. Love to read, garden, and make jewelry. I am raising one of my grandchildren, who is 15 and is a joy. He is a straight A student in school and loves sports, so keeps me going all the time. We live in a small town in Texas and so getting books from our little book store is a problem, they have to order everything. So when I found this on the internet I thought it was a miracle. It has been a joy to see so many books on one source. My grandson just loves it, as he is just a avid reader as I am. For some reason, he will not turn loose of any of his books. He loves to keep them and reread them. I have a daughter who lives down close to Houston, Tx and she has three children who are grown and I do not get to see them as often I would like. I try to read at least two books a week in the summer time, if the garden will let me. But the winter time is my time to read. Sometimes in the winter I can read 4 to 5 books a week, so I try to get as many books in my TBR list as I can before the winter sets in, then I can curl up in front to the fireplace and read all I want. PBS is the best thing that I have found for swapping books and I tell everyone I see about it. I have several friends that have started on PBS and they just love it. I love the Christian Historial Books and wish there were more out there, but they don't write them fast enough so I get to read the good ones over and over. |
